Machine

The FERMI@Elettra project will make use of the existing S-band linac in addition to the extensive support infrastructures and in-house expertise gained with synchrotron radiation and instrumentation. The present machine will be updated with new accelerating sections, as well as with bunch compressors and novel diagnostics.
