SmartBus Service

Starting from July 1st, 2019 a new experimental service is available to travel from/to the Elettra premises around the Carso area. A bus can be booked upon request to travel from Opicina to the west side of the Carso (Borgo San Mauro, Sistiana) and from Opicina to the East side (Basovizza, Pesek, Cattinara, ecc.). Instructions (temporarily only in Italian) are available here.
The Service will be free of charge until August 11th. After that date the cost will be Euro 2,00. 
In order to book the service you can either use the web site smartbus.triestetrasporti.it  (temporarily only in italian) or the free number 040 9720003 (Italian, English,Slovenian languages), operational every day from 9:00 to 21:00, where you may also obtain further information.
