Euro Bio High Tech

 

Trieste, 26 - 27 September, 2018

Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste participated in Euro Bio High Tech 2018, the most important event dedicated to innovation in biomedical, biotechnology and bioinformatics in Central-Eastern and Balkan Europe, held in Trieste, at the Palazzo dei Congressi Maritime Station.
 
In the section R&D Collaborative Projects Dr. Paola Storici, co-chair of “Biomedical, in vivo and in vitro diagnostic” workshop, presented the skills of Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste in the life sciences, in particular in the field of biomedical and bio / nanotechnologies of interest to companies and the scientific community.

At the "Innovative Therapy" workshop of the R&D Collaborative Projects section, Dr. Pietro Parisse presented the project "EXOTHERA - Exosomes for regenerative, immunosuppressive, neuroprotective and oncosuppressive therapies", financed through the Interreg V-A program Italy-Austria 2014-2020.

 

Elettra's team of researchers was present at the exhibition stand where it was possible to provide more information on the activities of the center and on the Interreg Italia-Austria projects in progress: the previously mentioned EXOTHERA "Exosomes for regenerative, immunosuppressive, neuroprotective and oncosuppressive therapies", represented by Dr. Pietro Parisse, and the InCima project "Smart Characterization of Smart Materials" represented by Dr. Lisa Vaccari. (in the picture)
