LEAPS and FELs of Europe meetings

Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste is glad to announce that it will host the 2^nd meeting of the LEAPS General Assembly (GA) and Coordination Board (CB) on March 12^th and 13^th, 2018. 
LEAPS, the League of European Accelerator-based Photon Sources, consists of all European SR and FEL user research infrastructures which are aiming for a new level of cooperation, coordination and integration to better cope with the future challenges in science, innovation and data management.
After the official Launch event in Brussels on November 13^th, 2017, the LEAPS Position Paper will be presented during the Bulgarian Presidency Flagship Conference on Research Infrastructures, scheduled for March 22^nd-23^rd, 2018, in Sofia.

The LEAPS meetings will be followed by the FELs of Europe Steering Committee (SC) meeting on March 13^th and 14^th. The FELs of Europe collaboration is acting within LEAPS as “Strategy Group 2 – free electron lasers”.
