Presentation Guidelines

Oral Sessions will take place. Visual presentations should be made electronically using the projector provided by the Local Organizing Committee.

Please carry a color printout of your slides with you to the podium in case of problems. Any other special requirements concerning visual aids should be addressed to the Plenary Session Manager.

Submission of the presentation files

Speakers are encouraged to upload their presentation material before the conference begins via their DIPAC2007 Jacow account. Name the file(s) with your program code and "_talk" (e.g. MOAAU02_talk.ppt, MOAAU02-1_talk.avi) and then upload in the same way as for papers. Early submission allows for the time possibly needed to work on unforeseen problems.

Note that the computers used for the beamer presentations will be PC's with Windows XP. The updated softwares of Microsoft POWERPOINT (ppt), Adobe READER (pdf), and OpenOfficeIMPRESS will be available for the presentation. There is NO WAY (in it's very literal sense) to attach your own equipment, switch operating systems, use specific or proprietary software.

Precautions:

Any special requirements concerning visual aids (e.g. embeded movies) should be addressed to the Plenary Session Manager.

Please get in touch with the DIPAC2007 Plenary Session Manager, Raffaele De Monte, demonte@elettra.trieste.it, well in advance of the conference.

We will help you with conversion problems if needed.

Post conference - Proceedings

It is foreseen to include all presentations converted to PDF into the proceedings web site. Please let us know if you have personal objections or lab policy constraints.
