PRIVACY POLICY

  1. With reference to your attendance to the XIII Elettra Users' Meeting and Satellite Workshops, to be held on December 14th - 16th in Trieste, and in accordance with the provisions of the Italian Law L.D. 196/03, art. 13 , this is to inform you about the following
    1. the personal data you provide are necessary to:
      1. proceed with your registration to the workshop;
      2. provide invitation letters - when applicable;
      3. assist with accommodation needs, and specifically communicate this data to the Guesthouse/Hotels management for accommodation purposes;
      4. process claims for reimbursement - when applicable.
    2. they will be processed:
      1. manually and electronically;
      2. by persons properly trained and authorised to deal with them in accordance to the Italian Law specified above;
      3. in accordance with safety standards that shall:
        • guarantee the non-disclosure of the personal data;
        • prevent non-authorised third parties to have access thereto;
    3. they could be included in the web page announcing this event.
    4. They could be provided upon request to the sponsors of the events, in the form of "List of Participants".
  2. The use of your personal data shall be strictly connected to the organisation of the XII Elettra Users' Meeting and Satellite Workshop.
  3. The Data Protection Holder is Sincrotrone Trieste S.C.p.A. represented by Prof. Alfonso Franciosi. The list of the persons responsible for the data processing is available, upon request, at the General Management Office.
  4. According to art. 7 of the above Italian Law, you are entitled to:
    • receive confirmation from the Data Protection Holder or from the responsible persons that your data are recorded or not and get evidence thereof;
    • be informed on the data sources as well as on the methods and purposes of their processing;
    • get the identifying data concerning the Data Protection Holder and of the responsible persons;
    • cancel, convert into an anonymous form or block the data processed not in accordance with the provisions of the above Italian Law;
    • obtain the update, the amendment or, if required, the integration of the data;
    • object to the processing of your personal data, for lawful reasons, by written notice.
