The aim of the workshop is to bring together experts in the instrumentation and applications of ultrafast spectroscopy stimulating exchange of ideas in view of the developments of the new sub-picosecond FEL sources.

Topics will include: femtosecond chemistry, pump and probe experiments, TOF determination of excited electronic states, electron dynamics in metals and dynamics studies of biological systems.
