Laboratory for Instrumentation and Detectors

In the Instrumentation and Detector Laboratory you will find expertise in the following fields:

1. Experimental Instrumentation Service
   • custom analog and digital experimental instrumentation design and development;
     
   • VLSI design and prototyping;
     
   • experimental software development support;
     
   • scientific instrumentation maintenance and repair;
     
   • high voltage supply unit calibration.
     
   
   
2. Electron Optics Service
   • electrostatic lenses and electron analysers design and development;
     
   • charged particles ray tracing and electron optics problems analysis by means of: Simion 3D, CPO and (in the near future) Maxwell;
     
   • multichannel detectors design and development.
