Microscopy Laboratory

The Microscopy Laboratory, within the Section Microscopy runs a Scanning Electron Microscope JSM-5400 (JEPL) with magnification up to 200000. The service activity includes:

• tests of special and new materials developed at lithography beamlines;
  
• tests of specific components and optical elements (e.g. zone plates) built for different measurement stations;
  
• samples characterization for users with approved beamtime at ELETTRA.
