Trieste, 11-13 September 2018

A joint meeting of the MXCuBE and ISPyB collaborations was held in Trieste, Italy from the 11th till the 13th of September. MXCuBE provides crystallography beamlines users with an easy-to-use software platform to run their experiments. ISPyB is a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) combining sample tracking and experiment reporting at synchrotron beamlines. The meeting saw the participation of 51 scientists and engineers from 13 institutes from Europe and Brazil. The goal of the meeting was to review the current state of the beamline controls, data acquisition, storage and analysis software and coordinate future developments and enhancements.
The meeting included a visit to the Elettra’s XRD2 beamline and a tour of FERMI FEL facility.
