Puzzles in Fe-based superconductors

Abstract
Fe-based superconductors are studied extensively during last decade to understand the interplay of superconductivity and magnetism. We studied the electronic structure of some of these fascinating systems exhibiting antiferromagnetic ordering and superconductivity, employing high resolution photoemission spectroscopy. Our results indicate major role of electron correlation and covalency in their electronic properties. Ligands appear to play much more important role than considered so far. Energy band evolution with temperature reveal signature of hidden symmetry breaking. Spectral weight transfer at different high symmetry point appears to be significantly different.
