Abstract
Elliptically shaped glass mono-and poly-capillary with a spatial resolution of 1.2 µm – 15 µm have been used for the fine focusing of the pre-focused X-ray beam produced by the KMC-2, KMC-3 and MyFocus beamlines at the BESSY II facility in Berlin. The flux density gain of 50 for mono-capillary and of 700 for poly-capillary was experimentally measured. The microprobe has been used in the energy range of 4.5 keV – 35 keV. µXANES and µEXAFS measurements for a large variety of samples are presented.
