Photoelectron Circular Dichroism of Alaninol

A photoelectron circular dichroism (CD) study of the valence states of 2-amino-1-propanol (alaninol) in the gas phase is presented. The investigation has revealed conformer population effects in the valence-state photoelectron spectrum.

Photoionization of Acetonitrile with Synchrotron Radiation

The photoinduced ion chemistry of acetonitrile is investigated by using tuneable VUV synchrotron radiation in an octupolar ion guide with mass spectrometric detection. The appearance energies and yields of primary photoions and secondary ionic products are measured.

The valence electronic structure and conformational flexibility of epichlorohydrin

The valence electronic structure of Epichlorohydrin, because of its importance as a model chiral system, has been investigated by angle-resolved- and threshold-photoelectron spectroscopies (ARPES and TPES) using circular and linear polarized light.

Thermal switching of the magnetization in an iron film on a magnetically active template MnAs/GaAs(001)

The magnetization direction of a thin Fe film can be fully reversed in a thermal cycle of a few degrees close to room temperature, without making use of an external magnetic field.

Bulk sensitive X-ray absorption and magnetic circular dichroism investigation of Mn- and Co-doped ZnO thin films

Bulk sensitive L2,3 x-ray magnetic circular dichroism spectra were measured in transmission on Mn- and Co-doped ZnO thin films grown by pulsed laser deposition on soft x-ray transparent silicon nitride membranes.

Resonant Circular Dichroism of Chiral Metal-Organic Complex

A sizable enhancement of the circular dichroism in photoelectron spectroscopy has been measured and computed for the metal complex -cobalt(III) tris-acetylacetonate highest occupied molecular orbital state in the region of the Co 3p-3d Fano resonance.
