ELETTRA is pleased to announce the Satellite Workshop
"Reactions at Surfaces"
Sponsored by the European Round Table of Synchrotron Light Laboratories.
The Workshop will take place in Trieste on Tuesday and Wednesday November 30 - December 1, 1999 and will be hosted at the "International School of Advanced Studies (S.I.S.S.A Via Beirut, 2 - Trieste (in the premises of I.C.T.P.)

Aim
The aim of the workshop is to bring together scientists studying surface reactivity from various points of view to assess the state of the art in the field of surface reactivity and set new perspectives with emphasis (but not restricted) to the role of synchrotron radiation.

Format
The meeting will consist of a number of invited lectures (45 minutes), a poster session and short (10 minutes) oral contributions. A general discussion on the topics presented and in general on the field of the study of surface reactivity will be held at the end of the workshop.
