Three poster sessions are scheduled to take place on
the afternoons of Monday (MC1P), Tuesday (TC1P) and Wednesday (WC1P) (4, 5 and 6 October),
from 14:00 to 17:30. Posters, however, can also be visited during the morning following
the corresponding session: Tuesday morning for session MC1P, Wednesday morning for session
TC1P and Friday morning for session WC1P. Each poster will be displayed on a panel 2.35m
(7.7ft) wide and 1m (3.3ft) high. Posters should be mounted from 13:00 to 14:00 and
dismounted from 12:00 to 13:00; they must be manned throughout the session from 15:00 to
17:00. Poster Session Managers will be available to assist authors to mount their posters
and to give any technical assistance that may be needed.
With the objective of stimulating creativity, a "Best Poster
Prize" for each of the poster sessions will be awarded.
A limited number of Personal Computers will also be available in the poster room in
order to complement poster presentations with life-demos. Requests for these computers
will be handled on a first come first served basis. Contact the ICALEPCS'99 Secretariat prior to the
Conference to define any special technical requirements.
