Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste at ESOF2020


 

 

The ESOF2020 is about to begin and will be opening its doors from the 2nd to the 6th of September 2020.
Elettra - Sincrotrone Trieste
will be exhibiting in Hall 28, booth C6, and within the  Working Group RICE booth also located in Hall 28,  in the Old Port area of Trieste.
The RICE Working group offers a rich in person events programme open to the conference participants and to the general public, there is free access to these talks  however visitors are requested to book in advance their entrance to the Exhibitions in Hall 27 and Hall 28, as outlined on the Forum website.

Two scientific panels are oganized by Elettra:
"Filming Electrons in Motion", Thursday, September 3rd 2020, from 12:00 to 13:30 Room 27A; and

"The Exscalate4CoV project: a journey from HPC to virtual reality. How Computer-Aided Drug Design techniques are supporting the fight against SARS-CoV-2", Thursday, September 3rd 2020, from 18:45 to 19:30 Room 28H.

- organised by AIRC #Ibelieveinresearch: AIRC researchers from their laboratories in Trieste will talk about their studies during the health emergency. Silvia Onesti will focus on proteins, to explain how structural biology helps cancer research. Giannino Del Sal will illustrate how communication occurs in the tumor ecosystem.
