The workshop will focus on X-ray imaging in the fields of medical imaging, cultural heritage, life sciences and related fields, as well as the new opportunities opened up by Free Electron Lasers, such as the FERMI FEL accelerator in Trieste.
The scope of the workshop is to promote collaboration between Australian and Italian synchrotron scientists in the application of synchrotron radiation to life science and cultural heritage.
