Elettra Crowd newsletter 2015 n.1
Welcome to Elettra Crowd!
Since our last issue, Elettra has enjoyed a month of December 2014 rife with activity. The workshops organized by Elettra included "Integrating Table-top Laser Seeded-Free Electron Laser and Storage Ring Sources for Time Resolved Spectroscopies", "International Workshop on Advances in X-ray Imaging", and "Novel SuperConductors and Synchrotron Radiation: State of the Art and Perspectives". The last one was punctuated by the Fonda-Fasella prize awarded to Dr. Riccardo Comin from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, and University of Toronto.
Elettra, together with IAEA, also held a Regional Training Course on synchrotron radiation in November. The training activity was continued in the School on Synchrotron Radiation. You can find the video interviews related to this event in our current issue.
We wish you a enjoyable year in 2015, and hope to see you with us here at Elettra!
