Specific Cooperation Agreement signed between Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste and ICTP

Today 10 March 2022 a new Specific Cooperation Agreement was signed between Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste S.C.p.A. and the Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics. To consolidate a collaboration agreement in force since 2011 and promote cooperation on specific issues for the next three years, the President and CEO of Elettra Prof. Alfonso Franciosi and the Director of ICTP Prof. Atish Dabholkar. The agreement focuses on the renewal and expansion of the range of common activities concerning a collaboration program to facilitate access for users from developing countries, for the operation of two beamlines in collaboration with Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India and their full multi-year operation with high-profile scientific staff. Accompanied by Prof. Franciosi, the Director of ICTP Dabholkar had the occasion to meet the coordinators of the XRD2, XPRESS and TwinMic beamlines and briefly visited FERMI. |
