Information for Elettra and FERMI users

IMPORTANT

Starting from 15 October 2021 to 31 December 2021 (the current expiration date of the state of emergency), in order to prevent further spread of the SARS-CoV-2 infection, anyone who carries out a work activity must possess, and produce upon request, an EU digital COVID-19 certificate (in Italy "Green pass"), for the purposes of accessing the premises where the aforementioned activity is carried out.

International Travel and Trasport

When travelling, please note that schedules may be subject to changes by airlines/tour operators with no prior notice, and operational changes for very short periods may not be reported; therefore the final confirmation of a flight schedule has to be always checked with the airline or tour operator. 

When your plan your trip remember to double check with your home country for quarantine rules.

Travellers from certain countries are required to notify the local Health Department upon arrival, through the online form (mandatory): *  Questionario: COVID19 - Modulo rientro in Italia - Provincia di Trieste
* The form at the moment is only in Italian, here follows a translation for your convenience:

Travel and Transport within ITALY

From September 1st the Green Pass (Digital Covid Certificate) is mandatory to board also National planes*, ships, long distance trains, hired cars with a driver and in general all long distance transport (* for International travel, please see above)

Meals and Elettra Canteen
Starting from August 16th, 2021, by law all customers that wish to use any public restaurant with indoor seating, including the Canteen on campus, must have the Green Pass and show it at the cash desk.
For Users that do not have a Green pass, packed lunches (to be ordered previously directly at the bar, or by e-mail , filling in the attached form), are available.
The daily menu is visible at the bar.
The dining area in building T2 is currently unavailable but you may eat your meal using one of the outside gazebos on Campus, or your hotel room (hotel customers do NOT need a Green Pass  to use their own hotel restaurant); the vending machines at Elettra are always available.
The Green Pass is NOT required for standing up coffee/snacks at bar stalls.
