Spin-resolved ARPES @ APE

New VLEED spin detectors (developed and installed within NFFA Demonstrator) were succesfully commissioned in September 2015!

Spin and angle-resolved ARPES spectra were measured for Au(111) (a). The spin polarization (b) was measured with angle and energy windows of 0.38 degrees and 46 meV, respectively, around the emission angle of 2.6 degrees indicated by the two green lines in panel (a). Observed fully spin polarized states split by Rashba effect are shown in panel (c).
