Germany), Today's control systems have to be built within the framework of generic applications, integration of industrial solutions and standardized architectures. Stability requirements of 'particle factories' need complete surveillance of operation conditions to be able to identify sources of performance degradation. This session thus emphasizes the crucial role played by well-integrated centralized data repositories. Presentations focus on configuration management using databases of reference data as well as on the archiving of diagnostic data.
