CalipsoPlus EU support - Eligibility

User groups with the majority of group members working in an EU member state other than Italy or in an Associated Country are eligible for funding. A novelty in Horizon 2020, the present European Framework Programme for Reserach and Innovation, is the possibility for user groups from any Third countries[1] to profit as well to a certain extent from this trans-national access programme. Not eligible to be refunded: Proposals submitted by Research Teams conducting their research in Italy and Proposals submitted by Research Teams from Elettra.

The travel and subsistence expenses will be validated by our certified Auditor. In order to be considered eligible, they must comply with the general financial principles of the Horizon 2020 Program, i.e. they must be actual and consistent with the principles of economy, efficiency and effectiveness.
All expenses (air and train fares or equivalent for use of personal car, airport shuttle, accommodation plus breakfast, local car rental or local transportation) will be refunded after the trip by means of a bank transfer, upon presentation of the corresponding original receipts. PLEASE, REMEMBER TO KEEP THE ORIGINALS OF ALL YOUR RECEIPTS AND INVOICES.
Credit card statements ARE NOT valid for reimbursement.
