FERMI Call For Proposals

This is the Ninth Call for users experiments at the FERMI facility at Elettra - Sincrotrone Trieste.
Before preparing your proposal, please carefully check the following information.
In particular, concerning the photon-beam parameters, kindly check the tables available at the address: http://www.elettra.eu/lightsources/fermi.html
 
Please note that, during the next run, the delay line to be used for FEL pump-FEL probe experiments will not be available.

Proposals that require 3 to 6 shifts with FEL standard configurations (see below) will be given priority to be scheduled.
Standard configurations:

  1. Rep Rate will be 50 Hz up to 250 eV photon energy and 10 Hz above
  2. FEL will be always producing a single color. 
  3. Wavelength/energy per pulse in the nominal range (for more information click here).
  4. User Laser Energy E and time duration Δt per pulse: @795 nm (E=1500 μJ Δt=70 fs), @397 nm (E=400μJ Δt=90 fs), @265 nm (E=50μJ Δt=120 fs)

For these proposals no additional user equipment will be installed on the end-stations.
