Samples for MX experiments at XRD1

In order to maximize the survival of your samples, please take into account these instructions.

  1. The use of caps with barcode is strongly suggested.  We recommend to use barcode with white background as they don't rust, last longer and are easier to read (see figure)
  2. ESRF spine style pucks are compatible with our sample changer. Our dewar can accommodate 5 pucks at the time. We recommend that you use the barcode to identify your puck which enable us to quickly locate your samples.
  3. Pin length should be 22 mm from the base to the start of the loop. All the transfer parameters and alignment procedures are set for this length.
Even thought we expect most of our experiments to be performed at 100K, we can accommodate capillaries for room temperature measurements. We do not support tray screening yet.
